Film & TV Language: Mise-en-scene blog tasks

Costume - Jamie is wearing a white tee with dark blue jeans, While the psychologist, a baby blue blouse with jeans also.

Lighting - Dark lighting with bright window from the jail room.

Actor - Jamie is took up in front of the psychologist to make him look like a bigger yet scary person to the psychologist. While on the other hand, the psychologist is sat down  looking up at Jamie with fear in her eyes as if he is a mental person.

Makeup - Simple + plain makeup.

Props - green + blue bean bag chairs are seen in the left hand corner, and a black sofa on the right. With a table in the middle where the psychology and Jamie are sitting in.

Setting - Dark room, which is empty which connotates fear and evil.

Costume - Glinda is wearing a hot pink maxi dress, with Elphaba wearing a black outfit and round thin gold glasses

Lighting - Dark / Mood lighting with dim lighting.

Actor - Both are moving around and dancing, with them being opposites to each other.

Props - When transitioning to a school they are carrying school textbooks as dancing.

Settings - in a school dorm and then transitions to the school atmosthere.

Lighting - Low Key Lighting which presents fear and tension 

Actors - Both are sitting across each other 

Props - a folder is seen full of Jamie's Intagram posts, comments and what he has posted on different accounts

Settings - Dark setting in a empty room which is used for people in jail to come in to see psychologist

  BLADE RUNNER From the film poster, 'BLADE RUNNER' suggests the genre of the film is Sci-fi / Action through the use of  mise-en-scene  and  iconography .   One way this is achieved is through the serious  expressions  among the characters such as the guy holding a cocked gun and sweating from his forehead, which communicates a sense of serious and danger in the Film. Additionally, we can tell the male is the  protagonist  because he is contracted with the female in the dark light, holding a cig. Which  communicates  an addiction, smoking is often associated with negative meaning, which may make her the  antagonist. Moreover, in the right hand corner a  solgane/ tag line  is shown, "man has made his match.....now time to face the problem" the verb, "made" suggests he has made the  antagonist . 1 - Tara(Jade)  Alezey(Tori) Jasmeet(Cat) Zaawiya(Andre) 2 - CLAMPS Costume - Jade is wearing a black cardigan with blue jeans which connotes the idea of an school enviroment. Cat is wearing a pink and purple hoodie which connotes her personality of being bubbly and playful. Tori is wearing a brown hoodie to match what is she wearing in the show, victorious. Andre is wearing a blue tee to convey his casual yet relaxing outfit Lighting -  The high key lighting and high  saturation around the scene conveys the school/ child like surrounding. Along with at the end editing the lighting such as adding a pink hue to the scene. Actors - we tired to follow their movements such as Jade playing with her bracelets on her hand as walking and Tori closing her locker and grabbing a book such as in the victorious scene.
