First blog task

  1- One reason I chose Media A levels is because I am very passionate about filming such as music videos, which is my favourite media. I also found out it can be a useful subject for law as it involves essay writing.

6- I believe the biggest media story of 2025 is the chance of world war 3 to happen. This is because this scared many people, such as the news channels telling people to pack a 'safety kit' full of supplies. Along with the possibility of Russia bombing London.

10- During a school day, I spend around 3 hours a day. On the weekends I spend around 6 hours. I believe it is too much because out of the whole day, 3 hours is a lot of time.

  BLADE RUNNER From the film poster, 'BLADE RUNNER' suggests the genre of the film is Sci-fi / Action through the use of  mise-en-scene  and  iconography .   One way this is achieved is through the serious  expressions  among the characters such as the guy holding a cocked gun and sweating from his forehead, which communicates a sense of serious and danger in the Film. Additionally, we can tell the male is the  protagonist  because he is contracted with the female in the dark light, holding a cig. 1 - Tara(Jade)  Alezey(Tori) Jasmeet(Cat) Zaawiya(Andre) 2 - CLAMPS Costume - Jade is wearing a black cardigan with blue jeans which connotes the idea of an school enviroment. Cat is wearing a pink and purple hoodie which connotes her personality of being bubbly and playful. Tori is wearing a brown hoodie to match what is she wearing in the show, victorious. Andre is wearing a blue tee to convey his casual yet relaxing outfit Lighting -  The high key lighting and high  saturation around the scene conveys the school/ child like surrounding. Along with at the end editing the lighting such as adding a pink hue to the scene. Actors - we tired to follow their movements such as Jade playing with her bracelets on her hand as walking and Tori closing her locker and grabbing a book such as in the victorious scene.  1-  Costume - Jamie is wearing a white tee with dark blue jeans, While the psychologist, a baby blue blouse with jeans also. Lighting - Dark lighting with bright window from the jail room. Actor - Jamie is took up in front of the psychologist to make him look like a bigger yet scary person to the psychologist. While on the other hand, the psychologist is sat down  looking up at Jamie with fear in her eyes as if he is a mental person. Makeup - Simple + plain makeup.
